You Know What I Have Nightmares About

Two young women, flatmates, are in very different mental states, but one of them is unaware.

Filmmaker Aglaja Filipović is a 23 years old film student, born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. You Know What I Have Nightmares About is Aglaja's film analyzing two young women's relationship as they deal with older life. Sunny is an aspiring actress who's intensely preparing for her new play's premiere. Her flatmate Hannah is left to deal with her own demons, alone.

While Hannah prepares for a job interview, she listens to Sunny as she rehearses a monologue from her play. It resonates with Hannah. But she stays quiet. What follows is a nuanced look at two women's relationship, who are physically lose and historically close but failing now to connect and recognise the other's energy and mental state.

Aglaja Filipović 'After reading a play by Don Nigro called “A Seascape With Sharks and Dancer” Tracy’s monologue stuck with me. I knew I really wanted to make a film that explores a relationship and isolation between two close individuals, how you can be alone even when you have someone physically next to you. The script was built of my own worst fears of losing someone that I love. A lot of the time we take people around us for granted, check on them and tell them you love them.'
