Sixteen is about a teenage girl’s life being interrupted by all the usual tropes of teenagedom: the girls who look down at you at school, the sneaking around with boys, and the landing yourself in a situation where you have to, very quickly, mature. This short animation was made using traditional and digital 2D animation techniques by filmmaker Violet Shin.
