Alien In Love is a film about a girl who can't seem to get her boyfriend to pay any attention to her. Young Romeo foregoes admiring his bodacious blonde bombshell in order to deconstruct a modern cinematic masterpiece. As Aliens descend on Earth, one love story ends and another begins; all while the Earth is collapsing in on itself.

'I love reading angry reviews on Letterboxd and tend to imagine the state people are writing those reviews in', says director and animator Corrinne James. 'I was inspired to write this after a couple people I follow reviewed the same movie at the same time. I kept picturing them on the couch together, super focused and all in this competitive state. I just sort of imagined someone who doesn't care as much about movies sitting in the room with them. I wanted to explore the tension in a room like that.'
