Corrinne James

Corrinne James is a Los Angeles-based animator from Alexandria Virginia. She has created music videos for major label and indie artists such as Ice Spice, Feeble Little Horse, Slow Pulp, and Emily Yacina. She has also made animated sequences for TV, including Hulu’s food docu-series Searching for Soul Food. She is also passionate about sharing her love on animation, frequently teaching workshops at Heavy Manners Library in Los Angeles, California. In her own films, James often uses hand-drawn techniques to wrestle with themes of guilt, purpose, and jealousy in a non-linear, impressionistic fashion.
