Night Cab was made by French filmmaker Alix Bortoli in her time at RCA. This animation is unusual in how its made, as it chooses a fusion of embroideries and mix media. Night Cab is a short film that depicts the night life of a city, and all its glorious faces and energies, each dancing with the rhythm of the music.

Bortoli 'I need a physical aspect into my films. I made an animation on wood and now with fabric I would love to be able to create a film with smell next time! Also the imperfectness is important for me, I don’t really control the result, it is always a surprise and I have to deal with it. My films are more about a mood than a story, in the same way that the imperfectness I would like the viewer to create its own story.'
