Lily was born in Singapore and grew up in Taipei and Shanghai. She studied Graphic Design Communication at the University of the Arts London, Chelsea College of Arts. She takes on projects that involve directing, writing, design, and branding.
She embraced her childhood habit of repeatedly flipping through photo albums, and began documenting things that she finds beautiful — like that boy and girl sitting by the pier eating ice cream or that old lady out tanning in the sun during a heat wave. She even finds beauty in a pile of sh*t. What does that say about her? Her style of work is thoughtful yet straightforward. Her practice continues to explore the tension between the transcendent and the human experience. She is currently in (her Saturn Return).
