My love of comedy writing and drawing of surreal cartoons suddenly came together when a script I entered to a competition won funding from the Yarns film festival, and I had the opportunity to direct it!  This experience gave me the directing bug and my first film, called  Banana Boat, went on to win the entire competition, and since then since then I haven’t stopped.I am a comedy director with a sprinkle of surrealism. I pride myself in towing the fine line between tacky and tasteful and create worlds that are bright and enriched with colour. Above all I want to entertain and if people leave my films feeling like they’ve been hit with a large entertaining sledge hammer then I feel I’ve succeeded.
