Love is Back is LA/ London filmmaker Sammy King's homage to the limitless capacities of female empowerment, ie. transmitting the message that Love is our most valuable resource.

It’s the late 80s London, and LOVE is the global currency! Inside a buzzing stock exchange office - bossed by women- the number one priority is Love stock airwaves.

This boss cast including Spice Girl Mel C, artist Faye Wei Wei, HRH Princess Julia, actor Jaime Winstone, fashion icon Miss Jason, musician Elheist and so many more! Together they fix the Love that has sadly been waning... Love soon rises back up the charts and the bell rings it’s ding of success.
Celeste, meanwhile, doubles up her jobs by educating the all male board about the meaning of Love and the need for Love’s worldwide success. <3 <3

It pinpoints the moment you see someone who you really fancy, the feeling is all new again, you get carried away with the idea of who you think they may be... You then think you are in love again…. And then the reality comes to you that this person really isn’t right at all!! Although now when I sing it the feeling is different because love really is back!”.

King " I owe this video’s success to all the wonderful people involved. Being able to work with amazingly talented friends, new collaborators and cast who are some of London's (and my) most inspiring artists and creatives brought this whole love-full film to life!

The mutual respect we all had for each other and the mad amounts of creative direction - from filling a whole office to dressing pretty much the entire cast in 80s runway garments of Mugler, Dior, Jean Paul Gautier, and Vivienne Westwood- meant that it really felt like the time period and super fabulous boss women we wanted to portray.

This same team effort also really embodied the bigger message I was trying to convey; many people have lost loved ones during this pandemic and are really struggling so I wanted this video to reach out to them, and be a reminder that there is still light and hope, particularly when we work together and make our communities strong. The video releasing after the inauguration of Joe Biden and most importantly a welcome goodbye to the last four negative years was the perfect timing to relay the message: THE LOVE IS BACK AND IT'S HERE TO STAY!!!! <3 <3
