Rebecca Ozer is a writer/director from NY, currently based in London, eager to give a TED Talk on Zabar’s bagels versus Brick Lane beigels. They’re particularly passionate about genre-blending and are committed to the creation of queer, multicultural, and sex-positive new work. Their films have played at over ten international festivals including the BIFA qualifying Manchester Film Festival, NFFTY, Chelsea Film Festival, Sunscreen Film Festival, and Revry’s Queer X. Additionally, their short script “Muddy Ripening” was recently a Top 5 Finalist for the Shore Script Short Film Fund, placing it on The Red List and in the top 2% of discoverable projects on Coverfly. Her specialties include kinky tales, chaotic character-driven ensembles, and some good old Jewish zingers. Rebecca is a graduate of The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and The London Film School - yes she’s slowly becoming addicted to Marmite.
