Raheela Suleman (b. 1996) is a London-based writer and director. Her films have screened at Tate Britain, ICA, BFI, Genesis Cinema, All Points East Festival 2018, P21 Gallery, CineAstra Film Festival, and LUX Moving Image. An alumna of Other Cinemas Film School 2023, Chisenhale Gallery, and Barbican Young Poets, she explores Islamic Existentialism, Mysticism and The Unseen in both her written and visual work. Her film, 'SABR' (2023), premiered at the London Short Film Festival 2024 and screened at ICO Spring Screening Days at BFI Southbank alongside 'the variable' (2023).
