Mo and Steph are a writer/director duo based in Manchester and are previous finalists of the Funny Women Comedy Shorts Awards 2020 for their short music film, Pancake Jam. In 2023, they made their debut short film with the BFI Network x Film Hub North, titled A Television Broadcast From Outer Space. These insanely attractive women have always made no budget short films and sketches with very minimal crew. As multi-skilled filmmakers, they write, produce, direct, act, compose, and edit, making them a squiffle-threat. Though they find it odd describing themselves in third person, they are obedient observers of convention, where possible. They are also utter destroyers of convention, where possible, too.
