Lara Verheijden is an artist, filmmaker and photographer. She was born in the Netherlands in 1990 and after high school she went to university where she got her bachelor Dutch literature and linguistics before enrolling in the art academy to study Photography. Since 2017 she's working as an autonomous artist, filmmaker and photographer feautured in various group and solo exhibitions. She is the founder and photographer of The Amsterdam Nude Calendar and her docu-film 'Coco' is her 4th large film project. Lara's visual interests determine how she approaches her subject. Intimacy, sexuality, woman and power structures are recurring themes in her work.
