Karla is an actor and writer. Her recent acting credits include CARNIVAL ROW (AmazonPrime) and AM I BEING UNREASONABLE? (BBC). Her writing credits include SAFE, THE STRANGER (Netflix) SCREW (Channel 4) and HOOTEN AND THE LADY (Sky) CANVAS 5 is her first short and directorial debut. CANVAS 5 won The Norman McLaren Award for for Best British Short at Edinburgh International Film Festival, 2022.
