Julia Fiona Brown is an artist, filmmaker, musician, performer and writer. Their work includes their 2018 film It’s My Party funded by BBC Northern Ireland, their multi-channel audio instillation made with composer Joy Stacey entitled Never Never Land’ shown as part of the Barbican young artist showcase in 2016, their music video for Millie Turner’s Concrete Tragedy (AWAL records comisson in 2020). In 2017 Julia was part of the London Film Festivals BFI Network Lab and their most recent project Birds Talk to Humans all the time (2024) will be released soon. Julia lives in Margate in the United Kingdom..They also work as an editor and director of photography for clients including the Roundhouse, London, Conde Nast and the Lost Project. They have shot films commissioned by Chisenhale Gallery, CCA Glasgow, Whitechapel gallery.and worked as a camera operator for Boiler Room, Lush, Dazed Magazine, Mind UK and Awal records.
