Jenny Wright is a 2018 graduate from MA Character Animation at Central Saint Martins in London and now award-winning Animation Director.
Her short film My Mother's Eyes was the winner of the Tribeca Film Festival Award for short animation.
Using 2D hand-drawn animation with thick brushstrokes, minimal backgrounds and abstract character designs, she aims to create beautiful and moving storytelling. She has so far directed short animations for Dover Street Market, Seed Animation Studio and The Blobcast.
As well as the Tribeca award, her film My Mother's Eyes film was nominated for the best Short Film under 5 minutes at the London Short Film Festival. It has also gained widespread recognition at numerous international film festivals, including Underwire, Aesthetica and Palm Springs International Film Festival. It was recently released on Random Acts.
