Hallie Haller

Hallie Haller is a South African creative who cares about media, the future, and you. Based in Johannesburg, Hallie is excited by a participatory, co-created cinema and art that plays out where the body, the machine and nature intersect. They have written a multitude of unpublished pieces, received hundreds of rejection letters, invested unwisely in passion projects, and risked it all for a big idea — more than once. Hallie is a Talent Durban Alum, One World Media documentary fellow, a co-founder of GirlsInFilm South Africa and a fellow of Electric South's New Dimensions VR Lab. Raised in dance and musical theatre, Hallie’s marries highly visual work with complex movement, expansive production design and raw performance. For love and money, Hallie is a filmmaker and media artist.
