Elizabeth J Cassidy is a writer and director based in London. With a background working in production, Elizabeth started creating film poems in 2020 to begin her career in writing and directing. Through her work, Elizabeth tells stories of poetic and fragmented narratives that explore complex human relationships and experiences. Much like The Mirror, Elizabeth’s storytelling centres itself on protagonists who find themselves questioning their identity, which leads them on a profound journey of self-reflection and discovery. Most recently, Elizabeth has set up Short Girl Productions with Andriani Scordellis, and their first narrative short film, Aydan & Evan, in association with Lucas A.
