Celia Arias

Spanish-born Celia Arias is a Director & Stylist based in London (UK). She works closely with clients curating projects across fashion, commercials, music videos, stills and film.

Born in Barcelona and raised in Madrid, she moved to London at the age of 17, where she undertook an apprenticeship at the renown costume house Prangsta Costumiers and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts at Goldsmiths University of London. Her background in the Arts provides her with a vast and in-depth understanding of visual culture, history of art and fashion, which reflect on her rich approach to image making.

Her directorial debut with the fashion film ‘Elizabeth’ (2020), which premiered in ‘Nowness’, won awards from the likes of ‘Short to the Point’ Festival, as well as holding nominations at the 2021 ‘Berlin Commercial’, ‘Berlin Fashion Film festival’, ‘A Shaded View On Fashion Film: ASVOFF’, ‘Milano Fashion Film festival’ 2021 and ‘La Jolla’ Fashion Film festival.

Her second film 'An Ode to Teenagehood (and dysfunctional families)' has been release in exclusive at the Tokyo-based GATA magazine in 2022.
