Brydie O’Connor is a Kansas-bred, New York based filmmaker. Her narrative short film, GOING STEADY, won Best of Fest at the KC FilmFest International and has screened at festivals worldwide. Her short documentary, FRIENDS OF DOROTHY, will be released this fall. Recently, Brydie produced TAXI!, a short film by Celia Rowlson-Hall, which premiered on Le Cinema Club, and a narrative adaptation of the New Yorker fiction piece, COLD LITTLE BIRD. Brydie is a graduate of The George Washington University and is an Assistant Programmer at The Bush Film series, an intersectional queer film series dedicated to showcasing work about and for queer women, trans, and non-binary people. She has worked on productions for Comedy Central, iHeart Radio, Broadway Video, and various independent projects.
