In the bar of a bird's nest a young Crane prepares for her coming of age, beneath the light of the bloodmoon.

FJER is a pilot episode by writer and Danish director Jeanette Nørgaard. The story follows a strange and dark control that holds a young woman bird captive. Crane, as she is called, is under threat of death if she does not satisfy her father's wishes: to demonstrate her coming of age and sexuality under the bloodmoon, for his own desire. He is not just her father but her ruler, and wanton lover. So begins the story of FJER initiating a poetic and freaky urban fantasy web series about emancipation and discovery of own sexuality.
