With a background in theatre and art she works with high concepts, creating heightened worlds through intense sound, bold production design and styling. As a British born Indian her films focus on conflicting identity and physicalising her characters’ internal battles. Ultimately storytelling lies at the heart of her creations and pervades through all aspects of her work.
